Project Overview

ALISHAR CONTRACTING developed the Khamis Mushayt Sewage Treatment Plant (STP-4), a key infrastructure project designed to handle the wastewater demands of the region. The facility contains a total treatment capacity of 120,000 m³/day, serving as a critical component of the city’s sanitation network.

Deliverables

• Aeration Tanks:
  • Six tanks, each fitted with six aerators of 115 kW (vertical shaft type).
  • Two mixers (3 kW each) are integrated within anoxic zones for enhanced treatment efficiency.
• Chlorine Contact Tanks:
  • Designed to ensure accurate disinfection, maintaining safe chlorine levels before final discharge.
• Supporting Structures:
  • Clarifiers, filtration systems, sludge thickening units, dewatering systems, polymer dosing, and sludge drying facilities to ensure comprehensive wastewater treatment.
• Capacity & Operation:

Built to receive municipal wastewater with influent BOD of 500 ppm, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.
