Scope of the Project
ALISHAR CONTRACTING developed a fully interconnected water transmission system linking Baysh Dam, Itwad Dam, and Maraba Dam to the Maraba Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The project involved the construction, testing, and commissioning of a multi-source transmission network, reinforced by dedicated pumping facilities, to ensure reliable and continuous supply.
Key components of the system included:

57 kilometers of 1,000 mm and 700 mm diameter pipelines from Baysh Dam to the Maraba Water Treatment Plant, serving as the primary transmission backbone for high-capacity flows.

18 kilometers of 400 mm diameter secondary feeder lines from Itwad Dam to Maraba Valley, strengthening system redundancy and regional coverage.

5 kilometers of 250 mm diameter feeder lines from Maraba Dam to the Maraba Water Treatment Plant, providing direct local supply integration.

The construction and commissioning of the Maraba Pump Station, a critical facility designed to provide the hydraulic capacity required for long-distance transmission and system stability.
MAS GULF undertook the mechanical and electrical works of the pump station, delivering key installations to support pumping performance and operational reliability.
Together, these elements established an integrated and resilient water supply network, securing consistent inflows to the Maraba WTP for treatment and distribution to downstream users.
