Project Scope

We designed and built the Al Watan Newspaper Plant as part of the company’s expansion from Abha to Jeddah, creating a facility equipped for higher production output with a double printing hall and a commercial printing area.

Deliverables

• Complete design and construction of:

  • The main plant building

  • Utility buildings

  • Powerhouse

  • Staff housing

• Installation of a modern production system, including boilers, conveyors, folder units, and printing equipment.

• Dedicated control rooms for managing all printing operations.

• Full site development, road networks, and parking facilities with upgraded access routes.

• Administrative office areas built with pre-cast columns, beams, and hollow-core slabs.

• Pre-engineered steel structure for large-span production areas.

• External and interior glazing with curtain walls and aluminium cladding; atrium covered by a space frame and skylight roofing.
